Homespun Wedding as seen in Oregon Bride Magazine

I certainly love a big fancy wedding but there’s something so wonderful about an intimate at-home wedding that trumps everything. It seems so real and heartfelt and cozy! I was so excited to see that Oregon Bride Magazine loved it too.  This day and this couple were just FUN.  I love their style and I didn’t even have to travel outside my SE Portland neighborhood for the wedding!  My favorite things about this wedding were Jenni’s cherry stained lips, the little braid in her lovely red hair, her uh-mazing and totally gutsy / unique wedding shoes, Logan’s cool hipster groom style and hatchet groomsmen gifts, Jenni’s cat who got dressed up for the wedding by wearing a pearl necklace, their sweet getaway car, and looking through some seriously crazy photo booth pictures from the reception.

Oregon Bride Magazine beautiful Oregon image

I was so pleased to pick up a copy of Oregon Bride Magazine and see my cousin in it!  The article shows off Oregon’s fantastic scenery and interviews top wedding photographers about how they got the beautiful shots.  The morning of my cousin Olivia’s beach wedding I arrived to do her hair and makeup and it was drizzling outside. Her friends were gently trying to tell her to move her beach wedding indoors but she just flat out refused. She looked out the window onto the beach and smiled as if she just knew everything would be ok.  “We’re getting married on the beach no matter what.  I don’t care.” she said.  We looked at each other nervously as it continued to be misty outside when she left for the venue.  Just as I had resigned myself to it, the sun burst from behind the clouds and the rain just disappeared.  Josh Kincaid and Alice Falzone, her awesome photographers, were treated to a spectacular setting sun and they did not waste it.  They got so many incredible shots, including this steamy kiss shot by Alice in front of Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach.  Check out the Mosca Studio Blog for more stunners from the day.  Much love to my little Lulu and her amazing man Ryan whom we all adore.  xxxooo
